Overview
The Piazza is a newly developed luxury shopping plaza in Pittsburgh, PA. I worked with a brokerage and commercial real estate development team to create a brand that attracted target businesses to sign leases in the plaza.
Using the brand we created, I managed a team of designers to create marketing materials including a highway billboard, digital ads, social media content, and site signage.

Branding
The Piazza, named after an open square, typically in an Italian town, is a luxury shopping plaza in Pittsburgh, PA. I designed the brand identity for the Piazza to reflect the aesthetic and architecture often found in a traditional Italian Piazza while bringing a touch of commercial modernity to the identity through the use of a vibrant, analogous color palette. Through color psychology research, I decided to make purple the primary brand color, as it has historically been associated with luxurious goods due to the high cost to create purple dyes.
